For students preparing for majors or careers in theatre performance, radio / television broadcasting, speech therapy, and vocal music, as well as other students seeking to improve articulation and increase control of the speaking voice. Covers basic mechanics of speech production, including respiration, phonation, resonation and articulation, using Lessac methodology. Fulfills prerequisite for THEA 3113.
